Fla. Tribe Commanded to Examine Spending - 2004-02-25
The federal government has cautioned the Seminole Tribe of Florida to rein in spending by its council members and refresh its video lottery machines to comply with federal regulations, saying it would close the tribe's casinos if the practices continue.
The tribe was commanded to update some electronic slot machines so that players gamble against other players, not the house, as federal regulations command.
