Could Barstow be getting casino no. 2? - 2004-02-25
An Anaheim-based developer declared plans Tuesday for a $200 million Indian casino resort on the southern edge of the city, not far from the location of a comparable proposal.
Howard Palmer, president of Superior Development Inc., said his project would bring roughly 1,800 to 2,000 jobs to Barstow. Palmer stated it would include an 82,000-square-foot Indian casino, a hotel, a convention center and a museum, retail shops, a miniature golf course and a nightclub.
