Don't search for the names of The Venetian executives responsible for rigging three February 2002 contests for high-rolling gamblers in the complaint and settlement deal the megaresort and the Gaming Control Board agreed to Tuesday.

Control Board Chairman Dennis Neilander stated the agency, the industry's tax collector and policeman, has a policy against revealing the names of casino staff members whose actions result in disciplinary action for their casino resorts.

Tribal chair refutes preferred treatment for workers of BIA - 2004-02-26
Bureau of Indian Affairs officials whose actions assisted themselves and their relatives in gaining membership in a tribe now wanting to construct a casino did not get any special treatment, the tribe's chairman insists.

Original tribal associates have no representatives among the new leadership, which is currently hoping to establish a $100 million, 2,000-slot-machine casino which would enrich the tribe.
