Gambling granny squanders embezzled $3m - 2004-02-26
A grandmother who stole nearly $3 million from her boss was yesterday jailed for at least 4 1/2 years.
Denise Margaret Racovitis gambled over $1.8 million at Crown Casino from 1997 to 2003 and lost $409,000.

But she also made extravagant purchases for herself and her family, in spite of living in modest rented home and lacking equity in a "very modest" Rye home.

Feds search home of Steve Wynn's sibling - 2004-02-26
Las Vegas executive Kenny Wynn, the brother of casino-hotel magnate Steve Wynn, recently was served with a search warrant at his house in association with a child pornography probe, as reported by law enforcement sources.

Kenny Wynn until very recently had been president of Wynn Design & Development. That firm is supervising the building of Steve Wynn's new resort-casino, Wynn Las Vegas, on the Strip, according to a 2002 regulatory filing by Steve Wynn's company, Wynn Las Vegas LLC.
