How blackjack payouts work
If a player betting $20 is dealt a blackjack (an ace with either a 10 or a face card), he or she wins $30 if there's a 3:2 payout.
Several South Mississippi casinos have brought in a variety of blackjack that offers the house a sharply increased edge and causes gamblers to win less cash.
"Players enjoy single deck blackjack, because most people think they're card counters," explained Jeff Prusinowski, vice president of casino operations for Treasure Bay.
