Hard Rock deceleration leaves Rank in a tough spot - 2004-02-28
Rank Group, the casino and bingo company, yesterday reported it was slashing its reliance on its Hard Rock Café chain, whose struggles against a deceleration in tourism were behind a 34 percent fall in profits for the year.
At present, casinos applying for new permits have to prove in court that there is unanimous demand for an additional casino in the region.
