MGM Mirage Expects to Construct Casino in U.K. - 2004-02-04
MGM Mirage will construct a hotel-casino next to one of the biggest retail centers in the United Kingdom, company officials revealed Tuesday.
It was the second major agreement in the past two weeks that the gambling giant has signed in anticipation of gambling expansion in Great Britain.

The agreement features building a casino and related facilities like restaurants, entertainment venues and a hotel and conference center. The casino would be controlled by MGM Mirage.

Uncertainty regarding Indian casino - 2004-02-04
Some members of the Cheyenne-Arapaho Tribes of Oklahoma are doubting the wisdom of launching a new tribal casino complex in Colorado - in spite of their leadership's formal endorsement of the venture.

In late December, supporters of the proposed casino and adjacent cultural center, dubbed the "Homecoming Project," marketed the idea as a way of making reparations to descendants of Indians murdered during the 1864 Sand Creek Massacre in eastern Colorado.
