Feds subpoena four closely associated to Morial - 2004-02-04
At least four businessmen closely associated to former Mayor Marc Morial have received subpoenas from acting U.S. Attorney Jim Letten's office instructing them to bring tons of business and financial records into federal court Thursday.

Those requested to deliver documents include Glenn Haydel, and Roy Rodney, a lawyer who got numerous high-dollar legal contracts from Morial, including one to act as counsel for the agency that leases city property to Harrah's New Orleans Casino.

RMB stake in Global Resorts up for grabs - 2004-02-04
Banking group Rand Merchant Bank Holdings (RMBH) is to get rid of its 48.4 percent interest in Global Resorts South Africa (GRSA) for R527-million.

RMBH it has been the top investor in GRSA since its formation some ten years ago. During this time GRSA has created, developed and successfully brought into operation three multi-faceted casino, hotel and entertainment venues, the primary being Caesars Gauteng.
