Hollywood Casino put on the market - 2004-02-04
Penn National Gaming Inc. is placing the Hollywood Casino in Shreveport on the market.

The riverboat casino-hotel has been a disappointment ever since its launch in 2000. It was acquired by Penn National last March and the company went into default on $189 million worth of bonds and notes on the venture.
Penn National had been bargaining with the bondholders.

Police tracking down a gang of cash machine thieves who have stolen over £50,000 from bank accounts in merely a week have made a vital breakthrough.
Extra officers were drafted into the city centre and the cash machine was sealed off last night after police were informed by the concerned customer.

The secret cloning equipment is normally attached to the card slot in the cash machine but this time it was discovered in the entry door.
