Country Club Hills casino proposal provides less profit - 2004-02-08
The wheeling, dealing and preaching struck a fever pitch last week as the Illinois Gaming Board revealed proposals for the state's sole available riverboat gaming license.

Harrah's Entertainment Inc.'s proposal of $375 million was the second-highest, as the company seeks to establish a hotel and casino in Waukegan and attract brand new gamblers from Wisconsin.

Borgata casino considering expansion by now - 2004-02-08
The Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa is little over 7 months old, but the parent company is currently talking expansion.

Buoyed by success, Borgata CEO Robert Boughner informed gaming analysts in a conference call on Wednesday that Boyd Gaming Corp has commenced the design phase to include additional casino space, more meeting space, more bars, more restaurants and more retail stores.
