Time ticks away for Kentucky gambling amendment - 2004-02-08
Over a month into the Kentucky General Assembly, gambling has taken a back seat to Gov. Ernie Fletcher's suggested budget.

Meanwhile, House speaker pro tem Larry Clark, a Louisville Democrat, stated last week that he still intends to offer an amendment to permit full-scale casino gambling but has been confronted with resistance from Kentucky's tracks, who state that they require additional information.
