HK's Shun Tak claims no association with MGM casino venture - 2004-02-09
Shun Tak Holdings Ltd (0242), owned by Macau casino mogul Stanley Ho, declined on Tuesday a newspaper report that it was to participate in a venture to be made with U.S. gaming giant MGM Mirage Inc.

The South China Morning Post reported that Shun Tak chairman Ho had resolved discussions with casino operator MGM Mirage (MGG) to set up a new casino venture in the former Portuguese territory.

Harrah’s to launch women’s gambling site from UK - 2004-02-09
Harrah's, the US casino giant, is to launch its first internet gambling site, but with a fresh twist.

It’s avoiding traditional casino games and is targeting 35-48-year-old women as main demographic. Also new is a subscription model for the games, which allows punters to win prizes even when they're not playing.
The games will be skill-based, rather than casino games.
