Anecdotal Data Directed At Gambling's Increased Role in Wisconsin Bankruptcies - 2004-02-09
Even though job loss and lowered income are seen as the key reasons for three straight years of record bankruptcy filings in Wisconsin, some professionals who handle bankruptcies state that they have noticed another factor of increasing significance -- gambling debts.

With 17 government-sanctioned Indian casinos now dotting the state -- and more proposed -- the chances of more people having gambling problems may be growing, they say.

Foxwoods takes a gamble on new ad campaign - 2004-02-09
It seems that the wonder of it all isn't so wondrous anymore.
Foxwoods Resort Casino declared that it will dump the finger-snappin' jazzy jingle that has been the focal point of its advertising campaign since 1999.

"We've had great success [with 'The Wonder of It All'], but you just can't keep doing the same thing the whole time," insists Martin Kramer, director of advertising at Foxwoods.
