Kings proprietor wins blackjack competition - 2004-03-01
Sacramento Kings proprietor Joe Maloof has won a $1-million (U.S.) blackjack tournament.
The winner-take-all tournament was presented within the span of two days at Barona Valley Ranch Resort and Casino, near San Diego.

In second place with one hand to go, Maloof wagered $25,000 and drew a blackjack to become the winner among the six finalists.
