Cobb Street Center to hold casino-night fundraiser Saturday - 2004-03-10
Cobb Street Learning Center is holding a casino night fundraiser from 7 to 11 p.m. Saturday to collect funds for children attending the day care who are from low-income homes.
The evening's festivities will feature bingo, poker, blackjack and craps. Free food will be offered and there will be a licensed bartender.

Several gifts will be offered including cash prizes, gift certificates and a grand prize of a one night stay and dinner at Seven Feathers Hotel & Casino Resort, donated by Seven Feathers.

Wellington comittee readies for Project Prom - 2004-03-10
One of America's most special celebrations will occur in Wellington on Saturday, April 24, 2004 as Wellington High School juniors and seniors experience, "That 70's Night."

Project Prom chairperson and activities chair is Debe Ledesma. Other committee chairmen feature such people as: treasurer, Iris Manche; fund-raising and prizes, Traci Jacobs; games, Sherry Rains; food, Carol Hadorn; decorations, Mark Goodrum, Tammy Aguilar, and Robin Davis; casino, First National Bank; NABS, Kathy Ford; as well as publicity, Debi Jones.
