Will Slots Be Introduced To Baltimore? - 2004-03-11
House slots foes have come up with a strategy to cross Baltimore City off the list of potential slots locations, WBAL-TV 11 News reporter David Collins reported.
There's dissention in the ranks, Collins stated. The chair of the Baltimore City delegation not only backs slots, but casino gambling as well.

Marriott's bill injects millions into Baltimore's Park Heights neighborhood and she anticipates that, one day, it will rival Las Vegas' casinos.

Washoe County casino gaming ‘win’ fallen 9.3 percent - 2004-03-11
Washoe County casinos were hit with another decline in gambling revenues in January, dropping 9.3 percent comparable with a year earlier.

Several Reno casino executives have stated that January gaming numbers were intended to be solid, so the last figures likely are disappointing, reported Frank Streshley, senior gaming analyst at the Gaming Control Board.
