Biloxi poker veteran dishes out advice in hot-selling books - 2004-03-13
Ken Warren, a professional poker player and writer, has just published his fourth book, 'The Big Book of Poker.' Warren resides in Biloxi.
Warren stated he spends roughly 16 to 20 hours a week playing poker, primarily on weekends. His two favorite haunts are Grand Casino Biloxi and Copa Casino.

He predicts the country's interest in poker will continue to thrive, because casinos publicize the game and the media gives it national exposure.

Poker players go to Pendleton-area casino for high-stakes competition - 2004-03-13
Poker players from around the nation have descended on a casino in the Pendleton region this week, for the country's biggest poker tournament north of Las Vegas.
Players say huge pots and a friendly host city have made the tournament at the Wildhorse Resort and Casino one of their favorites.

"I love Pendleton," stated Clonie Gowen, the women's champion on the World Poker Tour, whose husband supervises over their young son while she plays.
