Pawlenty bring gambling to the table - 2004-03-16
Gov. Tim Pawlenty seemed willing to the concept of developed gambling on Tuesday, stating that if he does not see progress soon on an increased contribution to the state from Indian gambling, "we will consider all other -- most other -- gaming options."

There are other gambling suggestions: One would put a casino close to the Mall of America; a second would integrate a racino in the northern Twin Cities suburbs.

Casino operator considers more hotel rooms in Atlantic City - 2004-03-16
Harrah's Entertainment Inc.(HET), the world's second-biggest casino operator, is contemplating adding more hotel rooms in Atlantic City to meet burgeoning demand, Chief Executive Gary Loveman reported on Tuesday.

Harrah's is more concentrated on gambling than many other Atlantic City casino operators who want to widen their customer base to feature more general tourists, but across the city there is a dearth of hotel rooms.
