Gambler Takes Legal Action Against Vegas Casino for Banning Him - 2004-03-02
A Los Angeles lawyer who says he was thrown out of Las Vegas last year because he was too lucky has sued MGM Mirage in a proposal to compel the casino to caution prospective gamblers that they can be banned for winning too much.

Franseschi claims casino officials distributed the photo to other Las Vegas casinos after he left the blackjack table with thousands of dollars in winnings.

Diaz to compensate casino with a sum of $675,000 - 2004-03-02
An ex-Harrah’s Lake Tahoe dealer claims she will pay the casino $675,000 in restitution after making a guilty plea Tuesday to embezzling the casino’s money between May 1999 and May 2003.

Douglas District Court Judge David Gamble set prison term today for Patricia Gail Diaz, 47, for May 25 so she had time to sell a home and a boat to pay restitution.
