Monarch Casino Reveals Winning Refinancing of Its Revolving Credit Facility - 2004-03-02
Monarch Casino & Resort, Inc. today revealed it has refinanced its sinking revolving term loan credit facility that was expected to mature on June 30, 2004.

The new Credit Facility of $50 million, which features a $46 million payoff for the owing balance, substitutes the original $80 million loan.
The Company may use proceeds from the new Credit Facility for working capital needs and general corporate purposes connected to the Company's Atlantis Casino Resort and for ongoing capital expenditure requirements at the Atlantis.

Midwest Gaming Reveals Bold Strategy for Des Plaines Casino - 2004-03-02
"We will build a world class casino and entertainment destination that will generate more revenue and economic development than any other site under consideration," explained Neil Bluhm, Chairman of Midwest Gaming & Entertainment, LLC, when he addressed the Illinois Gaming Board today and announced Midwest's plans for a casino, hotel and entertainment location in Des Plaines.

A Des Plaines casino will collect over $53 million more revenue for the State in the first year and over $500 million more revenue over the next ten years than Harrah's proposal for Waukegan, according to The Innovation Group's estimates.
