Constituents will determine if riverboats are in future - 2004-03-20
The emotional deliberation over potential riverboat gambling in Webster County will reach a peak Tuesday when the constituents have their say.

Gambling backers say that a riverboat would be an economic catalyst generating 350 jobs plus increased revenue for local governments and charities.
The casino would be required under state legislation to pay at least 25 percent over the federal minimum wage of $5.15 per hour.
