Allegan County casino takes one move closer to reality - 2004-03-21
It appears that waiting has paid off for a tribe attempting to construct a casino in West Michigan.
The Gun Lake Band of Pottawatomi Indians wants a casino in Wayland Township and a recent ruling by the federal government has put the project one step closer to reality.

In order for the casino to be completely operational with slot machines and card tables, Governor Granholm has to sign a contract giving the tribe authorization. Otherwise, it will be named a class 2 casino, which includes low risk games like bingo.
