Lowering or omitting the racetracks' portion of future revenue from the state's 10th casino license risks killing horse racing in Illinois, Arlington Park's CEO said.
Something like slot and video poker machines, he stated.
"That would clearly be our preference in all honesty," he explained. "When you look around the country and see casinos near racetracks, unless the racetracks are allowed slots, they don't do well."
