Reno Hilton officials showed Tuesday they are true-blue fans of the Wolf Pack.
Normally, Reno’s biggest hotel is glowing with white lights. But Tuesday night, the huge structure east of U.S. 395 was soaked in University of Nevada blue, honoring the school’s basketball team that plays Friday in the NCAA Sweet 16 round in St. Louis.
Prentice stated the game also means a promotional prospect for the resort as huge crowds are intended to see the game on the casino’s two new walls of flat screen televisions.

Indian gambling office leader encourages cap on casino payments to states - 2004-03-24
Congress should cap the total of casino revenue tribes can give to states because big payments can constitute an illegal tax, the chief of the Interior Department's Indian gambling office reported Wednesday.

But as Nevada-style tribal gambling has erupted and catapulted some Indians from poverty to extreme prosperity, tribes that want to sign agreements with states to establish casinos are increasingly agreeing to divide their revenue.
