2 Execs in Vegas Scheme Currently Work at Mescalero Casino - 2004-03-04
Two casino executives let go by the Vegas Strip's Venetian resort for their association with the rigging of three 2002 promotional contests are working in the casino business for the Mescalero Apache Tribe in southern New Mexico.

Ex-senior vice president of operations Michael French is currently chief operating officer for the Inn of the Mountain Gods casino and travel facility in Mescalero, and ex-vice president of marketing Brian Parrish is director of marketing at the same New Mexico casino, the Las Vegas Sun reported.

Casino bid shocks Tribble - 2004-03-04
Christian County Judge-Executive Steve Tribble claimed today he was shocked by the introduction of a measure in the state legislature proposing the creation of nine casinos in Kentucky and is cautious of commenting on the effect such an operation may have if one of the nine was to be situated in Christian County.

House legislators started reviewing a legislative leader's measure Wednesday that would expand gambling in Kentucky, permitting some nine casinos within the state.
