Salt Lake City-Based Electric Sign Company Progresses with Mississippi Casino - 2004-03-05
Young Electric Sign Co. may have integrated and maintained some of the fanciest casino signs on the Coast, but the business' office is marked solely by a small sign propped up against the building.

Although the subcontracting work still goes on, the lean times for YESCO here have finished. The Coast branch has created exterior and interior signs for seven casinos, including Copa Casino, Casino Magic Bay St. Louis, Boomtown Casino Biloxi and President Casino.

Authorities Claim Casino May Take Crowds From Convention Center - 2004-03-05
State tourism officials are the most recent group to voice concerns regarding the proposed casino in West Warwick.
This week, Harrah's Entertainment and the Narragansett tribe released an artist's rendering of what the casino may appear like.

The proposed complex would feature 3,000 slot machines, and feature a hotel with 500 rooms.
The Providence Journal reports the state's Hospitality and Tourism Association are worried the casino would lure customers away from the convention center and from regional hotels.
