Seniors take a gamble at Vegas Day - 2004-03-06
Emma Hanselman is truly not a gambler at heart.
"I'm doing it for the fun," the 73-year-old Fort Gratiot resident admitted.
The seniors were provided with $200 in tokens as they walked into the Palmer Park Recreation Center. With that, they were able to press their luck at blackjack, beat the dealer, roulette, bingo as well as other games of chance.
She said she and her husband, Raymond, visit casinos in Detroit and other regions of Michigan, but go to the Point Edward Charity Casino across the river in Ontario infrequently.
