A power struggle was ongoing Friday within an Indian tribe intending to build an East Bay casino, with tribal leaders refuting claims that they've been ousted by associates who accuse them of becoming too cozy with investors.

"These Tribal Council Members have been dishonest with the Members and with the public on the true ancestral origin of the Scotts Valley Band of Pomo Indians for the purpose of gaining a richer 'Casino Market Area' in the City of Richmond, in the Bay Area," it explained.

A £30 million leisure facility including a new 12-screen cinema, restaurant and casino is on the cards for Swansea. Detailed plans have been submitted to Swansea Council.
Plans for the new venture feature a casino, cinema, restaurant, coffee shop, bar and a five-storey block of 20 residential apartments.

The Swansea arm of construction company Brunswick Mansford Ltd, which is responsible for Salubrious Place, is also the producer of this latest development.
