Auction, casino, amid activities of Paint The Town Red! - 2004-03-07
The freshly renovated ballroom of the Pittsburgh Hilton set the feel, quite factually, for the Mt. Lebanon Junior Women's Club "Positively Pittsburgh: Paint the Town Red."

Casino tables, a silent auction and $10,000 raffle were the primary attractions, along with mixed buffets (including a complete Thanksgiving dinner!) and dancing to the live entertainment of Rick Purcell featuring Shari Richards.

Apartheid museum aiming to break ground - 2004-03-07
The apartheid museum is still growing in attempting to keep a record of the country's brutal past and the complicated history of white racist oppression and the black liberation movement.
Christopher Till, the director of the museum, stated the gut-punching images and sounds were symbolic of a difficult history.

The musuem's origins are somewhat distinct - it followed a government offer to private companies to construct a casino and an amusement park in a suburb of Johannesburg.
