Nevada Megabucks hit at the Palms Casino midday Sunday, the fourth jackpot on the statewide connected progressive slot system in the last six months. The winner, Beverlee Groves of Albuquerque, N.M., had never played Megabucks prior to winning $8,065,000 on the 3-coin dollar game.
This was the 62nd jackpot on Nevada Megabucks, the oldest wide regional progressive system in the country. The system also has the honor of
holding the world's record for biggest slot jackpot, $39,713,982, won in Las Vegas last year.
