House Sponsor Of Gambling Bid Doesn't See Measure Passing This Year - 2004-03-08
The House sponsor of legislation to introduce casino gambling to Kentucky stated Monday it's unlikely to pass over this session of the General Assembly.
Clark introduced legislation that would put to constituents a proposed constitutional amendment that would consent to casino gambling. His plan calls for nine casinos within the state.

Casino gambling would be a windfall for the state that could generate over $437 million annually, Clark has reported.

Projected Casino Resort in R.I. Has 3,000 Slots, 500 Rooms - 2004-03-08
The $600-million casino suggested by the Narragansett Indian Tribe would be unbeatable, according to new renderings and statistics from the tribe's financial endorser, Harrah's Entertainment.
There would be roughly 3,000 slot machines, more than at Lincoln Park or Newport Grand, along with 150 table games.

The casino would loom over West Warwick's business park and have an exclusive exit off Route 95.
