Thief pockets $7,500 from gambler - 2004-03-08
A pickpocket stole $7,500 from a Canadian gambler's inside pocket as he played baccarat at Casino Rama, close to Orillia, Ontario.
"That amount of money is not out of line with what we see at the casino, but that kind of behavior is out of line," explained police spokesman Jules Mckenzie.

McKenzie reported that although the casino has plenty of security cameras most are centered on the gaming tables and not on the individuals behind the tables.

Aristocrat receives US authorizations - 2004-03-08
Aristocrat Leisure stated that Aristocrat Technologies has obtained key product authorizations in three of the biggest gaming jurisdictions in the United States.
The company explained this permits it to now offer its games to casinos nationwide in the US.

It reported the New Jersey Casino Control Commission recently authorized Aristocrat's random bonusing product Mr Cashman and its internationally patented Reel Power game.
