European Roulette
European roulette, also documented as single zero roulette, is the original game as it was played in France before moving to the new world. American roulette is the version of the game for North American markets, and plays off of a wheel with both a zero pocket, and a double zero pocket.
The totaling of a second green 'zero' pocket on American roulette has a direct effect on the house edge for the game.
The game of multi-player European Roulette is played by spinning a
small ball on a round wheel with thirty-seven numbered slots. When the
wheel stops, the ball comes to rest in one of these slots. The object
of Multi-Player European Roulette is to correctly predict the slot in
which the ball will land. By predicting the right number, you earn a
payoff on your bet. The size of the payoff depends on how the bet was
placed.
